“SAFE WOMEN” COURSE: PREVENTION, AWARENESS AND SAFETY

On Saturday 20 June, the Gender Equality Committee organized the “Safe Women” course at the Gallarate terminal, a workshop dedicated to prevention and self-defence aimed at female colleagues from Ambrogio’s Italian terminals.
Guided by the instructors of VALKIRE by Thunder TOP TEAM and supported by a psychologist, the participants acquired practical skills to recognize and manage potentially risky situations, exploring prevention and self-defence techniques in depth. The course also addressed the psychological aspects related to managing an assault, providing useful tools to understand the mechanisms triggered under stressful conditions and to learn how to react with greater awareness. The experience helped strengthen self-confidence, personal awareness and empowerment.
The workshop concluded with a convivial lunch, an opportunity to share the experience, discuss the activities carried out and strengthen team spirit in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.
