Ambrogio Intermodal is one of the major intermodal transport companies on the European market thanks to its transportation solutions which combine innovative technology with efficient and reliable services.

The Ambrogio Group consists of five perfectly integrated operating companies all of whom are active in intermodal transportation and are equipped with private terminals managed in full operating autonomy, a fleet of fully owned swap bodies and a high-quality intermodal network which provides professional transportation and logistical services.

  • A founding partner and shareholder of BLS Cargo AG
    BLS Cargo is a Swiss railway company specialized in Alps crossing, operating on the Loetschberg and Gotthard corridors.
  • A member of UIRR (European Road-Rail Combined Transport)
    The UIRR is the European international association founded in Brussels back in 1970 whose members feature the most significant European operators and terminals within the integrated road-rail network.
  • A shareholder of Trimodal GmbH
    Trimodal GmbH manages the Neuss railway terminal (Germany)
  • A founding member of Ecotyre
    Ecotyre is an Italian consortium which represents excellence in managing end-of-life tyres since 2011. It was in fact the first company within the sector with the mission of managing and disposing of ELTs (end-of-life tyres).

 

Ambrogio Intermodal also stands out for its contribution in the publishing field. We are in fact one of the main contributors to ItaliaMondo, a cultural and logistics magazine, that deals with issues associated with intermodality, Europe, energy and environment.
