“INFO DAY” AT AMBROGIO BELGIUM

On June 15th, Ambrogio Belgium organised in Mechelen the first “Info Day” for all its drivers. Presentations were given all throughout the morning on topics such as: specific rules imposed by our major customers on safety and prevention, the content of the shipping documents and the transportation requirements of dangerous goods.

The goal of this gathering was to establish a dialogue between the driver and its employer. This is driven by the need to bridge the gap between what works in theory and what actually goes on in the field. Interesting issues and possible solutions surfaced quickly and were noted for further progress.

In total 30 drivers joined this ‘Info Day’ and the feedback has been very positive. Ambrogio Mechelen would like to organise this on a yearly basis, given the engaging response we received. The impression many people had of this being a team building event was a very nice side effect. This was the start of a fine tradition.
