SQAS AND ISO 9001 CERTIFICATIONS RENEWED

During the summer months, Ambrogio Intermodal successfully renewed its SQAS certification for the Gallarate and Candiolo sites and successfully completed the surveillance audit for ISO 9001 certification.

The SQAS (Safety & Quality Assessment System) certification, managed by Cefic, enables the performance of logistics service providers and chemical distributors to be assessed against stringent requirements relating to safety, quality, environmental protection and sustainability.

ISO 9001, on the other hand, is the international standard of reference for Quality Management Systems and defines the requirements needed to establish and maintain processes focused on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.

These are two different certifications, but they share a fundamental objective: to ensure and maintain high standards of quality and safety across all Ambrogio Intermodal’s activities. The renewal of these certifications confirms our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, for the benefit of our customers, partners and all stakeholders who place their trust in us.
