Since its beginnings in 1969 Ambrogio has been the pioneer of a mode of transport that transferred the long-distance journeys on the railway, leaving only the local pick-ups and deliveries to the road haulage.<\/em><\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1751487497714{padding-bottom: 50px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Ambrogio\u2019s environmental objective has also been applied consistently in terminal management programs which led to investing in Gallarate terminal, the heart of our intermodal network, where an electric gantry crane is fed exclusively via an annual self-production of 220,000 KW generated from an\u00a0innovative<\/strong>\u00a02,500 m2\u00a0photovoltaic system<\/strong> installed on the roof of our headquarters.<\/p>\n

In 2021, we extended this commitment to our terminal in Neuss, Germany, by installing 196 solar panels<\/strong>. This system generates 64,000 kWh per year, saving approximately 95 tonnes of CO\u2082<\/strong> and covering 75% of the energy needs of the offices and warehouse.
